Local country musician Larry Berrio was thrilled to be the opening act for Brooks and Dunn at the Sudbury Arena Saturday evening, playing to a full house. The energetic performer also opened up for Brooks and Dunn in Kingston.
Berrio signed on with major record label EMI and recently
released his latest album called RPM.
Country artists Brooks and Dunn (featuring Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn) played favorites like It's Getting Better All The Time, Cowgirls don't cry, Believe, You're Gonna Miss Me When I'm Gone, Boot Scootin' Boogie and Momma Don't Get Dressed Up For Nothing.
Screaming fans, many of whom were wearing cowboy hats, couldn't get enough of the singers. The duo threw streamers during My Maria before encoring with two more songs. They talked about their tour during the show.
The duo's debut album was Brand New Man in 1991 which has
since sold 6 million copies. Brooks and Dunn has had more than
forty singles on the country music charts. They have recorded
