A CP Rail train derailed west of Verner on Sunday, August 19.

In total, seven cars went off the track, the cause of the derailment is still under investigation.

No one was hurt due and the cars were mostly empty and do not pose any environmental danger, said CP Rail officials.
The train was eastbound on a section of line owned by the Ottawa Valley Railway.
