“Small Things: Arts + Books + Crafts + Delights” is very grateful for the media coverage of and public participation in our Grand Opening on Saturday, Nov. 7 and our weekly “Adopt-A-Cat” program (Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m.)
We are delighted to see interest in our products – arts, crafts, confectioneries, books, and music created by people in the Sudbury Basin and a little beyond. Your purchases support local artisans.
And we are grateful for donations and purchases of used books – used book sales pay the rent. And 10 per cent of used books sales goes to the Paghman Primary School project in Afghanistan.
Adopt-A-Cat Sunday is now placing two adult cats (fixed and friendly) every week; our goal is four per Sunday.
Very special thanks to my fellow volunteers – Kim, Audrey, John, Josh (www.photosbyjosh.ca), Debbie, Janice, Carolyn, Elaine and Laurence. And to the creative folks who show and sell their work at Small Things. This is truly a co-operative labour of love.
