A sincere thank you to over 350 volunteers who made the Sudbury ROCKS!!! Race Run Walk for Diabetes a huge success. Through enthusiastic volunteers and participants, close to $40,000 has been pledged to support Canadian Diabetes Association initiatives. Volunteers are also integral in spreading the message of health and fitness front and centre in Sudbury’s streets.

Thank you to all race marshals and the water station crews including the Minnow Lake Lions Club (Roy Charrette), Diabetes Clothesline (Vivian Mullen), Marymount College (Angie Fievoli), Lo Ellen S.S. (Brittany Caines), Cadets (Capt. John Adams), Whitefish Lion’s Club (Ken Shamess), KPMG (Stephanie Brouse), Teacher’s Lion’s Club (Carol Charlton), CAW Local 598 Retirees (Brian MacDonald), Gagnon Opticians (Josee Gagnon), Laurentian Chinese Club (Haoming Liu), Canada Broker Link (Debbie Young), and the hundreds of individual volunteers such as Sheri Tavella and Kayla Rewega. You are the ambassadors of our race and, on behalf of the entire Sudbury ROCKS!!! executive team, we thank each and every one of you. See you in 2011.
