‘What is wrong with these politicians?’ - Paul Sauvé

Here we go again. It is sad to see the Ontario Finance Minister (Dwight Duncan) ask the workers of the province pay the deficit the government has caused.

He would have had a much better reception if he had announced that his government was rescinding the $4.6 billion tax break given to the corporations.

The civil servants, nurses and teachers would have been a little more willing to negotiate had the minister not put the whole responsibility on their shoulders.

(Former Ontario Premier) Bob Rae is now a Liberal. He could help this government disappear with McGuinty–Rae Days.

What is wrong with these politicians? They tried to sneak in an eco tax. It took Canadian Tire to show them the folly of their ways.

What did we do to deserve such bad governments? We suffered through eight years of the Mike Harris foolishness — probably the worst government in the history of the province.

We were promised great things with (Ontario Premier Dalton) McGuinty. What are we going to do now?

(Former Ontario Premier) Bill Davis and (former Prime Minister) Pierre Trudeau, where are you when we need help? A dead Trudeau and an aging Davis would be much better than this.

  • Right Paul, and businesses should be taxed right out of existence. And the jobs they create for your union socialists as well.
In the NDP utopia you dream of, government owns everything and everybody gets paid $50/hour, right?

Its the same regurgitated left-wing crap every time. The evil companies are to blame. They should be heavily taxed is the answer to everything.
Sorry pal, the truth is you have to put come carrots out to entice investment and company growth. Tax breaks are not greedy handouts. Perhaps the bloated public sector union contracts should be looked at? The privatization of some services that would allow for efficient operations is well overdue.
One last thought. Ironic when the CAW wanted to keep their jobs, your types fell lockstep into demanding taxpayer's cash to the auto corporations.
