On June 18, a couple living in Gatchell observed two lights as they maneuvered around the smokestack. The two luminous objects would come close to each other, and then distance themselves repeatedly until they left the area.
At the moment of their departure, one object took on a green colour, while the other turned white. They kept “dancing” around each other until they headed towards Chelmsford, travelling side-by-side.
Then, on July 31, an Azilda resident and 31 other witnesses attending a family reunion near Whitewater Lake watched in awe as a spherical object with a “flame” at its centre hovered above them for 30 seconds, before heading off towards Sudbury.
A few days later, one of his friends from the police department told him that they had received two calls from Coniston residents, who reported seeing the same thing.
On Canada Day (July 1), at approximately 10:10 p.m., Sudbury residents reported seeing two orange lights as they hovered and moved vertically across the sky, moments before the fireworks display. And finally, I was told about a sighting that took place Aug. 10. An unusual light was witnessed by a lady and her son living near Falconbridge Road. They stood and watched as the luminous object moved vertically, then shot off at a terrific speed.
I’m told that the female witness is extremely skeptical of UFOs, and doesn’t believe she saw one. Her young son, on the other hand, is more convinced. I’m expecting more details of this observation.
I would love to hear from any other witnesses who may have seen these or other strange aerial objects in our skies.
