Re: Article “Veteran doc retires following college order,” which appeared in the Jan. 24 edition of Northern Life.
I am writing to express my disappointment with your article in the Jan. 24 edition of Northern Life that reported on events preceding Dr. Prince’s retirement from medicine.

There was no need to publish such an article when your newspaper had already previously published the doctor’s notice of his retirement.

Dr. Prince was my family’s physician for 45 years, and provided us with professional and dedicated medical care that was delivered with kindness. If articles such as the one published by your newspaper are what doctors can expect after so many years of devoted service to the community, it is no surprise that we have physician shortages in Sudbury.
