There are still honest people’ - Carli McLaren

After rushing home from work last Thursday to get my five year old to soccer practice in time, I realized that I didn’t have enough freezies for their after game snack.

Quickly I rushed into Chartrand’s Independent in Chelmsford to get a cold snack for the little soccer players (it was 34 C with the humidity), and I left my wallet in the cart.

We made it to soccer in time, and didn’t realize until after the game that I had left my wallet.

We rushed back to the store - fully expecting to find it was gone. I was shocked to find that some kind person had turned it in, and the very sweet cashier was trying to find my phone number.

What a great surprise to find that there are still honest people in this world. Thank you very much to the person who found my wallet and turned it in, and the kind cashier that was trying very hard to track me down.
