Time to count our blessings - Beth Bailey

Residing in Sudbury, I’m thankful for three good things.

First is the excellent upkeep at Bell Park, where there are even doggie poop bags provided for us dog walkers. Lawns are mowed, flowers beautiful, walkways clear, beaches clean and there’s concerts.

I recently made a return trip to Toronto by bus on Ontario Northland. Their new terminal just off The Kingsway is clean and spacious, and service is friendly and efficient.

Third is the farmer’s market downtown, which has been a joy to visit this past summer and fall. There’s so much good produce available, baking and locally made-products. Lots of people are visiting and buying.

This is my short list, but in reality there is much more. Thanksgiving is around the corner, time for counting our blessings.
