It seems city council has too much time on their hands to waste and lots of time to gang up on the people who want to see the city operate in a proper way.

The older councillors who have been in a few terms want to run the show, and do it in a dictator fashion. Mr. Berthiaume is acting like a child playing ball. If he can’t have it his way, he is going to take the ball home.

Wake up and smell the coffee, people. It seems to me the only one council that makes any sense is Mayor Matichuk. You should be backing her, not always opposing.

It was not the ombudsman who handed out the Elton John tickets or held closed-door meetings to hide actions from us the taxpayers. Be honest, be fair.

It is also a fact that the outlying areas of Sudbury are being neglected by council. Almost all the money that goes to the West End is spent in Lively.

The money that goes to the city as tax dollars is spent trying to restore the downtown core. The downtown core has been dead for many, many years.

Stop wasting our dollars there and upgrade other areas. The only person I know that can raise the dead is the good Lord. You won’t find him downtown any time soon.
