I wish to enlighten folks that the cardiac unit at Health Sciences North is a top-notch site of care.

All caregivers, from doctors to porters, from PSWs to housekeeping, from nurses to lab technicians, work together like a well-oiled machine.

They bring new meaning to quality of care, compassion, empathy and professionalism. There is not one area that does not touch the lives of those patients, or their families, on the unit.

Although extra staff could always be utilized, they go above and beyond the call of duty. They work with a genuine air of enthusiasm, expertise and caring, and bring a smile to their work, which places patients first.

God bless you all for a job exceedingly well done. Thank you so very much for the positive outlook you gave me. Please give yourselves a collective pat on the back.
