Students raise sober driving awareness - Rejeanne T. Korpi

On Feb 28, we attended a bowling night at Plaza Bowl. It was a fundraiser organized by a group of young students from Cambrian College for MADD, Mothers Against Drunk Drivers.

How proud we were of these students raising awareness of the dangers of drinking and driving. It was a great success.

Sadly, on display was a large poster of so many people who have lost their lives to this preventable tragedy. Hopefully, people attending this fun night will also remember the reason behind the fundraiser and pass on the word: Don’t drink and drive.

Thanks for all who attended and donated.
