Behind the other meter was a huge black truck parked with the front half way ahead of where it should have been, leaving two meters with no car in a proper spot, but lots of room, one with two-thirds of a spot. Both meters were expired.
I parked in the two-thirds empty space behind the Ford, but the tail of my vehicle thus crossed half a foot into the space behind. Hope you get the picture.
I put money into the meter, went into the store for five minutes, and came out only to receive an improper parking ticket, while the other two got nothing and paid nothing.
I went to the police department and the bylaw department, and was told I would have to go to court. I then called the city, was put on hold, left a message and heard nothing. I had also paid parking to go to the city and wasted my time trying to remedy this.
