They began last summer by redoing random sections of the street. They’d do 100 feet, leave it surrounded by cones, start at a different section, leave it to start another, return to the first section and seemingly never finishing anything.
More than 14 months later, cones are still all over the place, with crews randomly and very slowly “working” on different sections.
Early this week, they made a mess of the Errington-Main intersection and then left it. How long until they return to fix that mess?
It’s unbelievable that during the summer, almost half of Highway 144 to Gogama has been repaved. Four or five bridges are being replaced and traffic is rolling along as this work progresses.
But 14 months later, Errington Street is still not close to being finished as drivers dodge cones and workers and machinery.
