Make sure to cast your ballot this fall

Your vote matters. The truth is, local elections are where the power of one vote is greatest. Local elections are frequently decided by a handful of votes.
Your vote matters. The truth is, local elections are where the power of one vote is greatest. Local elections are frequently decided by a handful of votes.

It follows that for every vote not cast because a voter neglected to go to the polls means a potentially good leader can be denied a seat in local government.

This local election gives voters a say in who will represent them in important decisions affecting their communities.

That’s why it’s important to vote. If you have ever complained about your school taxes, potholes on your local roads and streets, or the fact that a known criminal is out on the street, you have “voted” on a local decision.

This election is your chance to vote on who makes those decisions. Don’t waste the opportunity. Vote.
