Thank you so much for writing an article on my son Jordan Kilganon. What a crazy weekend this was for Jordan. His flight was cancelled so he had to fly the day of the competition.

He was up at 3 a.m. to catch his first flight, and he didn’t get to the competition until five minutes into the warmup at 5 p.m. He was exhausted but pumped.

He got straight 10s for his first dunk, but couldn’t land a routine second dunk, so he had to hurry and do a windmill to get some marks.

Although he finished third in the first round, he didn’t advance to the final four.

Jordan was extremely disappointed, because he really felt he would win. He showed great sportsmanship, however, and is now more determined than ever to claim the title he feels belongs to him at next year’s competition in New York.
