City employee a great help after mishap

On Feb. 5, I was walking my dog and slipped on ice. To break my fall, I let go of the dog leash, and once I fell, I was unable to get back up. I later learned I broke my ankle. I was sitting on the ground and watched two vehicles drive by.

I was sitting on the ground and watched two vehicles drive by. Shortly thereafter a City of Greater Sudbury vehicle stopped and the man inside asked if he could call an ambulance for me.

I explained that I lived down the street, and if he could help me home, I would arrange for a ride to the hospital.

This kind person helped me up off the ground, grabbed my dog, who was running loose, helped me and the dog into his truck, drove us home, and helped me up the driveway.

I simply want to thank this very kind, thoughtful person for taking time out of his busy work day to help me out. I did not get his name, and I hope he reads this.
