Snowmobile crackdown appreciated

Re: Letter “Snowmobile radar check excessively harsh,” which appeared in the Feb. 20 edition of Northern Life.

Kudos to the police for doing their job and sending a message. A 57-year-old is on a crying jag because he was charged for going 13 kilometres per hour over the speed limit.

Snowmobiling is totally out of control. There isn’t a piece of real estate that hasn’t been violated and trespassed, its vegetation trampled, and subjected to speeding, stunt riding and illegal noisy exhaust.

We have three fatalities in Ward 7 so far because of anarchy.
