New city hall security measures too costly

Re: Article “Security most restrictive in the North,” which appeared in the March 4 edition of Northern Life.
I would just like to know who came up with this latest ridiculous expenditure at city hall?

I have never ever worried about going inside city hall, whether to pay my taxes or attending a council meeting.

This is a totally mindless expense, since we have other priorities such as huge piles of snow to be trucked away to prevent flooding.

Do please send this empire building “security person” back to the Lottery and Gaming Commission. We can’t afford to gamble with our taxes. This really was a bad idea.
