The French River Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic (the NP Clinic) opened its doors in September 2012. Located in Alban and servicing the Sudbury East area, this primary care facility has been an asset to the community since opening its doors.

Still accepting patients, the NP Clinic boasts an interdisciplinary team of nurse practitioners, registered nurses, a social worker, a health promoter, a chiropractor and collaborating physicians.

Their patient-centered and community-based approach has allowed them to offer quality care and free community programs such as yoga, bootcamp, fall prevention classes, chronic disease self-management program and lab services, to name a few.

What people don’t know is that above and beyond the funding they receive from the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, the NP Clinic is able to offer so much more to the community thanks to donors like the Alban Community Fundraisers.

The Alban Community Fundraisers donated $22,600 to the NP Clinic, which helped fund the community kitchen, community room and furnishings and some clinical equipment. This money was raised over the past 20 years.

The NP Clinic’s staff and board members would like to thank the Alban Community Fundraisers for all their hard work over the years and their tremendous generosity.
