Letter: Hoarding cleanup service ‘invaluable’

Re: Article “Helping tame the hoard,” which appeared in the April 3 edition of Northern Life.

As a social worker and advocate for individuals affected by this malady, let me say that Melissa’s service (with Sérénité Cleaning Solutions) is excellent.

Having just completed a major “reno” on a unit impacted by hoarding and other issues, without Sérénité Cleaning Solutions’ initial cleanup, we would not otherwise be showcasing the transformation in “our open house.”

This event was requested by the tenant in light of their pride of the transformation.

With the help of community support partners, we hope to sustain the gains facilitated through Melissa’s intervention and service.

I hope your readers, who may know others that may benefit from this service, utilize it. New beginnings deserve a fresh start. Congratulations on profiling such an invaluable/professional service provider.
