Letter: No app makes up for transit’s tardiness

In the past seven years, I have lost a job and missed many employment opportunities because of the city transit system. Many written complaints have been registered with the department, with no response.

No matter how many “apps” are out there, people still can’t get to where they are going on time.

Even the publication “Vital Signs” notes the great majority of “employed people” do not rely on public transit. Can’t blame them. I know from experience of the consequences.

The City of Greater Sudbury is “progressive?” Doubt it. City hall has big city ideas with small-town thinking.
