Letter: Bring down Bell Park barriers

Every time I drive up Paris Street, I notice the ugly rusted iron gate (to Bell Park) is closed. As far as I know, the park was willed to the citizens of Sudbury by the Bell family.

It was not (willed) to the City of Greater Sudbury, not to city council, and definitely not to some bureaucrat at city hall, who seems to make his own rules.

People in wheelchairs cannot drive in and park. Why?

I agree totally with the lady from Whitby who was complaining about this. Are we going to need a ticket or buy a passport to enjoy a picnic in our park soon? Whoever had this bright idea, get it reversed, please.
