Letter: Another Canadian institution gone south

Let’s see — Warren Buffet and his companies bought Heinz and moved the Leamington plant to the U.S.A., after 100 years in Canada. Now he has bought controlling interest in Tim Hortons. I don’t think he can move them all to the U.S.A.

Let’s see — Warren Buffet and his companies bought Heinz and moved the Leamington plant to the U.S.A., after 100 years in Canada. Now he has bought controlling interest in Tim Hortons.

I don’t think he can move them all to the U.S.A., but will we hear “Would you like hush puppies or sweet potato fries with your double double?”

Mr. Horton is turning over in his grave. Another Canadian institution has gone south.
