We want to recognize a wonderful gathering that occurred Sept. 13 in O’Connor Park. Will Morin and his wife, Robyn, organized a Niimkawaad — a well-organized, educational pow wow, honouring and celebrating citizens with special needs and learning challenges.
Guest drummers, elders and veterans were present and were ably inspired by fabulous lead dancers.
What a fantastic day of unity. Chi-miigwetch Will and Robyn - we are all blessed to have your spirit and the teachings of the children who inspired the Niikwawaad amongst us.
