Letter: Vote for Ron Dupuis

The last mayor did not seem to understand her co-workers, leading to too many confrontations.

For the next four years, things will be much better if Ron Dupuis was elected. Ron is a person who has many years of experience on this city’s council.

He has proven that he can work with all councillors and staff. He knows what has to be done to rectify the many issues in the Greater Sudbury area.

Ron was born, raised, educated and worked, to this date, in this area. Ron has spent thousands of hours volunteering on many national, social, sports and family projects to better the quality of life for all.

Ron is a person who will listen to all taxpayers and who has constructive comments to share.

Another candidate for mayor has proven that not everybody can work with him.

His office hired several assistants to help him in the audit office, but none stayed. Why? To me, his attitude towards communicating with others seems a liability for a person that wants to be a leader.

Then there is another candidate who is full of criticisms, but I have not heard any praise coming from him on any subject. I am not sure he can work with a dozen other elected human beings.

As I mentioned at the beginning, Ron Dupuis has experience, is bilingual, honest, intelligent, efficient and a very concerned citizen who is ready to give his service in helping this city grow.

I am convinced that every citizen of this City of Greater Sudbury will be proud of Ron as mayor.

Let’s not repeat the mistake that was made in the last municipal election by electing a mayor that has no municipal government experience.
