Letter: Would naming lane mean better snow removal?

Some time ago there was a mention that a lane behind Pioneer Manor should have a name. Now the lane has a name — Diane Marleau Way.

Since 1955, I have lived on Young and Lakeshore (in Capreol) with all the residents’ garages in a lane between both streets — a lane without a name.

Many times during the winter, I tried to phone the snow removal crew to get my car out of the garage.

I am asked the same question, and I get the same response: What is the name of the lane? The response I receive: Lanes are not a priority. Is it asking too much to get a name for a lane in Capreol?
