Letter: All is not well at Elgin Street barn

All is not well at the old barn on Elgin Street. Our beloved Sudbury Wolves have been losing game after game. Several longtime season holders have opted not to renew in frustration.
All is not well at the old barn on Elgin Street. Our beloved Sudbury Wolves have been losing game after game.

Several longtime season holders have opted not to renew in frustration. Many others are muttering and will likely follow suit once this season is over.

Pre-season we are promised a brand of exciting hockey — imports, draft picks and overagers. However, as soon as the puck drops, reality sets in. The Wolves are a team lacking in talent and, at times, short on effort and motivation.

There is no McDavid to excite and send the fans into jubilation.

Despite hard work and sincere efforts, management has been unable to build a strong contender. A change in leadership is needed if this franchise is to become competitive and achieve respectability. The best and most loyal fans of the OHL deserve nothing less.
