Council’s conduct ‘a welcome breath of fresh air’

I have just watched the city’s livestream of last week’s budget meetings, and I must congratulate you all on your spirit of co-operation and teamwork, which has infected city management such that staff is now involved in meeting the “$6-million challenge.”

It is so refreshing to see so many unanimous votes, and especially the professionalism shown by council, not just in the budget process, but in the committee meetings as well.

Your conduct has been a welcome breath of fresh air. A great job done. Thank you especially goes to mayor Brian Bigger for setting the stage for the zero-per-cent increase. Bravo.
