Why is Harper ignoring climate change threat?

Re: Article “Sudburians join Canada-wide protest over Bill C-51,” which appeared on NorthernLife.ca March 14.

A definition of cognitive dissonance: the Conservative government spending the last of its political capital it has left with the Canadian public on potential terrorist plots while totally ignoring the real threat of climate change.

While Canada’s reputation, pertaining to action on the climate change issue, languishes at the bottom of the heap, why is Mr. Harper spending so much time on potential terrorists threats and fomenting racism by feeding fear through the anti-terrorism Bill C51 and playing silly buggers with the niqab when Canadians have shown time and again that they want real action on climate change and doing our fair share in reducing greenhouse gas emissions?
