Letter: Let the beavers in Ramsey Lake stay

It would be great if the city left the beavers in Ramsey Lake this year. Every few year, they show up only to be trapped and relocated (killed?). The underbrush in the park needs to be thinned anyways, and the beavers do it free of charge.

It would be great if the city left the beavers in Ramsey Lake this year.

The underbrush in the park needs to be thinned anyways, and the beavers do it free of charge. They select the less desirable poplar to cut.

The park patrons watch them for hours. What a great alternative to sitting home on the couch watching TV.

Please leave our beavers alone.
