Letter: Plein air artist appreciates the support

I want to thank Northern Life paper, (managing editor) Mark (Gentili) and especially (lifestyle reporter) Heidi (Ulrichsen), for your great reporting, beautifully written articles, and years of unwavering support of my being a local plein air artist.

I want to thank Northern Life paper, (managing editor) Mark (Gentili) and especially (lifestyle reporter) Heidi (Ulrichsen), for your great reporting, beautifully written articles, and years of unwavering support of my being a local plein air artist.

Your commitment to following along with my 12-year project to paint Sudbury 365 days outside is outstanding.

I deeply appreciate your support, as does the public and your readers, with whom you also share the dates of my annual art exhibition, Spring Awakening.

As you know, this year, I do my next 30-day solo art retreat in the month of June. For the past five years, I have had my faithful companion, a German Sheppard, Cleland, beside me for each year’s journey. Unfortunately, he passed away on April 10. On this Junes art retreat trip, I will be going completely alone. I am sure there will be stories and adventures to share with Northern Life readers, my family and friends when I return in July.

Again, thank you for everything you continue to do to support the arts in Sudbury.
