On behalf of the Sudbury Fibromyalgia Support Group, I would like to thank the community of Sudbury for its support of our annual International Fibromyalgia Awareness Day Extravaganza (IFADE), May 9 at the Howard Johnson Hotel.

This year, our theme was A Mother’s Day Tea.

We can definitely say this year’s event was perhaps the best we’ve ever had. The community of Sudbury showed its support for people who struggle with fibromyalgia, helping us to raise enough money to continue to operate the support group, pay for administrative and activity costs, and to support future outreach activities by the group.

One of the commitments to Sudbury that we have made is that the money remain in the community through the purchase of goods and services.

Thanks also to our local media for supporting our event through its coverage and the efforts of the IFADE organizing committee.
