The Carnival 5-Way Carnival Committee, consisting of five non-profit agencies, thanks everyone who joined us this year at the World’s Finest Shows Midway in Hanmer in May.
It is with your support we are able to fulfill our obligations to the many programs we help to fund in our community. Special thanks to our partner, Sudbury Transit, for their support by allowing free bus rides to and from the Midway for everyone with a carnival pass or bracelet.
Sincere thanks to Barry Jamieson, owner of World’s Finest Shows for opening the Midway for two hours for free as a VIP day May 20 for more than 100 of Sudbury’s special needs children and adults. It was a memorable and exciting day for all of them as they enjoyed free rides and cotton candy.
Special thanks to the midway Workers who were exceptional with the special needs participants. We are grateful to the businesses who supported the fundraiser by selling carnival passes.
Sincere thanks to the carnival committee members who volunteered and made the event a great success.
