Letter: CARP is right in wanting to keep parking lot

Listen to CARP (Canadian Association of Retired Persons). Keep the parking lot next to former St. Joseph hospital. It’s a perfect spot for seniors and families with young children to access Bell Park. We are an aging population here in Sudbury.

The city will spend up to $900,000 to make changes to the former St. Joseph's Health Centre parking lot. It will still include 100 parking spaces (down from 320), but a new path leading to Bell Park will be created. File photo.

Keep the parking lot next to former St. Joseph hospital. It’s a perfect spot for seniors and families with young children to access Bell Park.

We are an aging population here in Sudbury. We need conveniences to our wonderful park donated to us by Mr. Bell. This parking lot is it.
