Something must be done about Sudbury’s gas prices

How much longer is Sudbury going to put up and shut up about our gas prices? Two weeks ago, on Monday, oil went down $4 per gallon, its biggest drop since last year. How did the local gas stations react? They put the gas up to 126.9 a litre.

Two weeks ago, on Monday, oil went down $4 per gallon, its biggest drop since last year. How did the local gas stations react? They put the gas up to 126.9 a litre. Why? Because it’s Tuesday and because they can.

How did the Sturgeon Falls gas stations react? Their gas went down to 96.6 per litre. That’s a full $0.30 difference.

When are our elected politicians going to do something about this?

We seem helpless in doing anything about it. There needs to be some regulations put into place so that the gas prices are somewhat controlled.
