On Sunday, July 26, my 17-year-old son had his bike stolen from the front of our house.
This occurred sometime between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., as he had biked over from his dad’s house to have dinner. I live on a quiet dead-end street with terrific neighbours.
Actually, one of my neighbours was outside cutting their grass.
This wasn’t a new bike, as it was purchased in a yard sale, and my son, who works two jobs, put money into the bike — even a bike lock which, no, he didn’t use because the bike was close to our front door.
To whomever took it, I hope you really need the bike and are using it.
Although, should I see the bike, I will kindly take it back, or you can kindly return it.
