Legion thankful for the community support

The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 76 wants to thank the community for their support.

On July 1, Branch 76 held its Canada Day festivities. A great big thank you goes out to all our sponsors: Weston Bakery, Food Basics, Pepsi, Lays, Home Depot, Costco, Tim Hortons, Downtown Country to mention a few.

Thanks to all who attended, and all the volunteers who made this day a rousing success. A great time was had by all.

Sept. 20 is the start of Legion Week. This celebration is being held at all the legions around the province.

Decoration Day kicks off the week with a dinner and dance to follow. We have many activities planned including dances, sports tournament, cards, darts, etc. I encourage everyone to see what our legion has to offer.
