Not flying a flag is better than flying a shabby one: Letter

November is here again, and with it comes Remembrance Day — one day (should be all year) to pay respect and honour our veterans and active military members. They have done and still do so much for us.

November is here again, and with it comes Remembrance Day — one day (should be all year) to pay respect and honour our veterans and active military members.

They have done and still do so much for us. They have kept our wonderful country of Canada free and a great place to live.

Out of respect for our military, past and present, please check your outdoor flags. If they are torn, frayed or faded, please change them.

A shabby flag disrespects our veterans, our military, our neighbours and our beautiful Canada.
