Letter: Stop cutting funding for health-care

Most people are aware that a shortage of doctors exists due to our government’s previous slashes in pay. Further reductions will increase the problems.

Most people are aware that a shortage of doctors exists due to our government’s previous slashes in pay.

Further reductions will increase the problems. Doctors will retire or relocate to somewhere that their expertise will be recognized and properly compensated.

I am fortunate to have an outstanding and dedicated family doctor. I know a number of others who aren’t so lucky.

This mess is not the physicians’ fault.
