Churchill Public's generosity goes above and beyond

On Oct. 22, Churchill Public School hosted a Buick Drive For Your Students test-drive event in partnership with Crosstown Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac, GMC.

Buick generously donated $20 for every test drive done at Churchill Public School that day. The school exceeded their goal of 500 test drives and they will be receiving $10,210 from the Buick Drive For Your Students program. Churchill will also be receiving $250 for every vehicle sold within the next year, and to date, seven sales have been attributed to the event.

Churchill Public School will use their portion of this donation towards a score board for their new gymnasium and are donating more than $5,000 to Maison Vale Hospice for the 2016 RBC Hike for Hospice to be held Sunday, May 1, 2016.

All the funds raised through the RBC Hike for Hospice stay in our community and go towards the operating costs of Maison Vale Hospice.

Since 2012, Churchill Public School has supported the RBC Hike for Hospice and has raised nearly $50,000 through a variety of activities. Maison Vale Hospice is very proud to have a great community partnership with Churchill Public School and looks forward to their continued support.
