Cinéfest will present a mid-summer mini festival at SilverCity Aug. 2 and 3. The event will showcase four innovative Canadian films.

Bon Cop, Bad Cop is the story of a murder that takes place on the Ontario-Quebec border and the unlikely duo that solve the crime. David Bouchard (Patrick Huard) is the French cop from Montreal, who couldn't be more different from Martin Ward (Colm Feore), an English cop from Toronto. For the first time in Canadian cinematographic history, Bon Cop, Bad Cop represents a project that is completely bilingual, a film where the cultural differences of Canada create and comprise the narrative drive. It will screen at 7 pm Wednesday, Aug. 2.

Other films are Kamataki at 9:30 pm Aug. 2; Sidekick at 7  pm Aug. 3; and L'Audition at 9:30 pm Aug. 3.

Tickets for each show are $7.50 or all four films for $25. They can be purchased at the Cinéfest Sudbury office, located at 45 Durham St., Suite 103.
