After two weeks of sold-out performances and continued demand, Sudbury Secondary School has added a Saturday matinée for its performance of Disney High School Musical on Stage!

The extra show is on Nov. 28 at 1 p.m. in the Sheridan Auditorium.

Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for seniors and students, and can be purchased at Jett Landry Music, Black Cat, and Sudbury Secondary School.

Tickets can also be reserved by phone at 675-7551 ext. 6843.

The production is the stage adaptation of the successful movie High school Musical, which aired on the Disney Channel in 2006. Its soundtrack was the highest-selling CD in 2006, and since then the movie has been viewed by more than 100 million people world-wide, said a press release.

The production tells the story of Troy and Gabriella, who meet in a karaoke contest during a New York holiday. Once vacation is over, basketball-star Troy finds out that Gabriella, a science whiz, is a new girl at his school. They both audition for the high school's musical, turning "their world upside down."
