Sudbury Theatre Centre presents the Students on Stage production SPIN: A Tale of Ultra-Modern Ad-ventures. The story is about Rojo, a citizen of the underground oasis known as Utopia, who must journey above ground into the advertising-saturated landscape of Adverterre.
His challenge is to save the brainwashed citizens from the clutches of the power-hungry dictator, the Evil Spin Doctor.
The Students on Stage program offers students an opportunity to learn first-hand about costume design, technical production and stage acting.
Twenty-three students from across Greater Sudbury will participate in the production.
The one-hour show will take place Saturday, Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 31 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. For more information, phone 674-8381 ext. 21.
