My Car - Limo driver stretches luxury

Peter Schaj has the biggest limo in town.

The owner of Nite Lite Limousine Service in Sudbury says “there is no other one like it in northern Ontario.” He calls it his “house on wheels.”

Schaj hasn’t stopped smiling since he purchased the 22-passenger limousine bus last month.

“They’re huge in Toronto and Vegas,” Schaj says.

Guests can enjoy two TVs — one a large plasma screen — a beverage cooler, bar and a phone to communicate with the driver. Stars, strobe and LED lights on the ceiling compliment the small dance floor and dance pole.

Although it’s lousy on gas, the quiet ride is phenomenal, Schaj says.

Schaj, who has several weddings booked already, also owns two Excursions, a Chevy Suburban and a Chrysler 300C, which have been converted into limousines.

  • Any vehicle with seating for more than 12 requires the driver to have a “B” (Bus) licence. Buses do not have seatbelts. I have even seen people standing in busses as they travel. Maybe he has checked this out.

  • thunder? Try popping open a bottle of booze in a limo. Then roll up to a police cruiser and tilt the beverage at the cop and yell, "Cheers!" at him/her.
See how long your limo party lasts with not only you but your entire party (and the driver) being charged for having open liquor in a vehicle.
Perhaps you should read the Liquor License Act?

sec 32(1) Will have your driver charged for having the liquor open in his/her vehicle.
sec. 31(2) Will have you charged for open booze in other than a private place or licensed business. (A car is NOT a private place)
Perhaps you should turn off Law and Order for a while?

  • Phillip doesn't only need a gf he needs to know the law before he posts.

  • Phillip... you need a girlfriend.

  • Phillip,
Does the bus have seatbelt? No!! Wanna put the seatbelt on the dance pole..lol

  • Thanks Tips!!!!

  • I don't see any seatbelts in the back.
Hope Nite Lite reminds their passengers that it is illegal not to be fully belted in when this vehicle is on the road.

Don't forget folks, its also illegal to have open alcohol in a car on the highways.

I wonder who's gonna be the first group to experience getting tickets?
