Actors from the Sudbury Theatre Centre's production of the Full Monty will perform some of their favourite musical acts at a special cabaret show on May 16 to raise money for the Sudbury Food Bank, the Actors Fund of Canada, and the theatre centre.

According to Judi Straughan, the "Hot Metal" dancers from Full Monty will perform their favourite productions from other musicals. The fundraiser is not a showing of Full Monty, but instead a special show where the dancing and singing actors from Full Monty will perform their favourite pieces from other musicals, Judi Straughan, education co-ordinator with the Sudbury Theatre Centre (STC), explained.

Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show are $15 and $17, and can be purchased at the STC box office or by phone at 674-8381 ext. 21.

The Full Monty, sponsored by NorthernLife.ca, plays from April 29 to May 22, six days a week, from Tuesdays through to Sundays. Evening shows are at 8 p.m. with Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.
