Evolutionary Band is hosting auditions for high school students who are not currently enrolled at Confederation Secondary School.

Successful applicants will have to enrol in full time studies at Confederation in order to play with the band.

They are looking for vocalists, guitarists, drummers, bass players, keys, trumpet, sax and trombone players.

Evolutionary is a 25-piece rock band that has been around for the past 30 years.

They have worked with a number of recording artists, been the subject of a full-length documentary and their music has been heard by a number of industry professionals.

To audition for a spot in the band, simply stop by Confederation Secondary School on Aug. 30 or 31 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. and be ready to perform.

  • I think that it is a great opportunity for other kids to get involved with the Rock Band. I was in the band for 3 years about 12 years ago and it was so amazing. I made the best of friends and are still friends with them. It is not a walk in the park and it requires alot of practice but it is worth every special moment and to have a teacher like Mr. Mcintosh is all worth it.
