Eight young entrepreneurs received grants recently from the Ontario government through the Summer Company Program.

The program provides students with the practical hands-on training and mentoring to operate a business.

Young people between the ages of 15 and 29 can qualify for grants of up to $3,000. Since the program began in 2001, it has helped more than 2,000 students to launch their own business.
