Peggy Macintyre calls herself an “abstract” artist.
Her work, which combines scenes of Ojibwa spirituality with elements of northern landscapes, is on display at Tom Davies Square today, Nov. 26.
Growing up in M'cheeging with artistic parents, Macintyre said she has began painting when she was nine.
Now dividing her time between Manitoulin Island and Sudbury, Macintyre has travelled throughout the province with her art and sold it globally.
She has a number of traditional paintings, rock paintings and wood paintings for sale at Tom Davies Square.
