For the past 20 years, Camp Quality has been giving kids with cancer the chance “to be kids again.”

The volunteer-run camp located in Monetville offers kids one week of free camping every summer.

The camp offers traditional activities like water sports, arts and crafts and even allows kids to go on motorcycle rides and airplane treks.

Each camper is paired with an adult volunteer for the week.

A media release from Camp Quality said many campers end up forming lifetime bonds with the volunteers.

Campers are also “given the opportunity to make new friends who can share in what they've been through and create life experiences they will never forget.”
